This makes the assumption that there is no cooperation between the two
parties.
The media tries to makes us think this is true. The reality is that on many
issues
there is a liberal faction, a centralist faction, and a conservative faction
in Congress.
The next President, to be successful, will need to unify the country from
the center
and will need to seek support from the centralist faction of both parties.
Can't we discuss the intricacies of watching paint dry? It could be more
interesting. :-)
I'm in Oregon. It's too wet to paint until the late spring, but if you'd
bring the topic back in May or June....
