Thanks to all you guys for helping with this. Russel's code works though I did make a slight change to CFMAILPARAM statement as indicated below. After the e-mail is sent I would like to delete the file from the directory using Cold Fusion. How can I include the delete command in my script? BTW: This is the log file from the Windows 2000 server backup software. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Russel Madere" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2001 10:30 AM Subject: RE: Retrieving latest file > Try: > > <cfdirectory action="LIST" directory="C:\NTBackup\data\" name="dir" > filter="*.log" sort="DateLastModified DESC"> > > <CFMAIL FROM="Eagle" > To=jwatkins > Subject="Backup Report"> > Greetings from Eagle! > Backup Report attached to this message > <CFMAILPARAM FILE="C:\NTBackup\data\#dir.Name#"> <--- Changed > </CFMAIL> > > Russel > > ============================================================ > Russel Madere, Jr. Senior Web Developer > ICQ: 5446158 http://www.TurboSquid.com > > Some days you eat the bear; some days the bear eats you. > ============================================================ > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Jim Watkins [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: Tuesday, February 06, 2001 09:08 > > To: CF-Talk > > Subject: Retrieving latest file > > > > > > I need to modify CFMAILPARAM below to send me the latest log file.
