I wasn't suggesting that you keep it hard-coded - I wanted to check that it
worked hard-coded

Now that you know that it does, can you View Source and see what's being
sent to the browser - usually, it's because it's not in a CFOutput or
something equally as simple... it's annoying, but it happens
