I don't know so much about availability of work, there seem to be a fair
number of opportunities, given our economy and the fact that it's march,
from what I understand companies ramp up slowly after the first of the year,
after budgets are approved and projects green lighted and such.
One thing I've noticed, at least where I am is that the days when you could
have your pick of 20+ projects at outrageous bill rates seem to be gone, the
market has equalized a bit, which is good, I'd much rather work in a
stabilized market (even if it's a little less stable than I'd like) than in
a completely un-curbed market...... i.e Yahoo is much more attractive at 15
or so than it ever was at 350... :-)

A friend and I were chatting this evening about the state of CF employment.
We got to wondering about something...
There has been an apparent slow-down in hiring for full-time employment --
has that affected the people who do contract CF work?
Specifically, are you finding it harder to stay busy?
And, maybe more importantly, are you finding that you have to drop your
rates to pick up work?
