Rest assured, economics takes precedence over ideology.
I think a lot of folks are banking on the simple forces of capitalism
winning out over communism in the long run. I think this will be the
ultimate fate of the communists in China. The more their citizens are
employed by (and rely upon) western companies, the more likely this will
happen.
There ARE a lot of scary things happening in China, however. Chief among
them are the companies owned and operated by the Chinese military. Check
