  Technically, I never have.  But on applications I always leave it 
blank.  If they call me on it, I usually give them the number.  The first 
person to mention money loses.  "I'd be willing to accept your best offer."

  On another note, one company offered me $20 an hour with no 
benefits.  They didn't want to commit to more than four weeks worth of 
work.  It was everything I could do to not laugh at them out loud.  (I.E. 
recruiters can get me jobs for more than double that)
