This may be OT even for this bunch, but what the heck -
A long time ago in a job far far away,
a co-worker who had just become a grandmother asked me
"Know anything about UNIX?"
to which I promptly replied
"I know I wouldn't want my daughter to marry one."
She asked
"How old is your daughter?"
I answered
"Nine."
She said
"oh just wait until she starts dating, you'll wish there were more of them!"
