Philip,
have a wonderful holiday!
I finally made it to DC a few years ago, and spent an entire day at the
Smithsonian's awesome National Air and Space Museum. For me, that was a
pilgrimmage!
Also unforgettable, but in an entirely different way, was the National
Holocaust Museum. When you enter, you are given an identify document. By
the end of the museum, you find out whether you lived or died.
Whatever you do, hope it's rewarding.
Ben

Well... I'm a little excited as I'm leaving work in about 4 hours for a
week's holiday... yep, I've managed to get a holiday at last (it's been
about 5 years)
As of tomorrow morning I will be winging my way to "sunny" Washington (DC)
Don't ask why there, it's just that I sort-of know the area after the
Conference... so I thought it'd be easier...
Everyone in the office is laughing at me as I'm doing little "happy dances"
around the place... sad, huh?
