What I think is funny (besides his alien-esque appearance) is, why NASA
didn't take his money, they had to know the Russians would take the money
and he'd get to go despite NASA's wishes, so since NASA is always scrapping
for funding take his money and send him up there, he's rich if he breaks it
it's sold :-)
Heck 20 mill could get the balls rolling on launching more non-functional
detritus at mars.. If there is life on mars, they must really hate us, we
keep lobbing crap at them..
Speaking of space (my fave subject) Pioneer 10 sent a message home a few
weeks ago.. It's something like 70 million miles from here, outside our
solar system, launched in the 70's.... tough little sucker..
ok there's my rambling on the space subject.
