This is not said to get peoples thanks, but the amount of time I spend on
the list dealing with people who are on vacation, people who don't know how
to post, how to subscribe or how to unsubscribe is amazing. Something like
10 hours a week and that's after I've put software in to automate some of
it. It used to be more, especially when the list was dying. Thank God that
software I wrote for the list management works. You may not have noticed it,
but yesterday around 5:15 the list choked on something and died. It was back
up and running within 20 minutes without me even touching it (I did watch
though). In the old days it may have taken up to an hour or more.
