I don't understand it..one day I just started doing this..and now I have to
make a conscious effort to type your instead of you're..and vice versa.
yes I know the difference..but...it's just ...happening..
all of a sudden.

Pardon the really dumb question and please don't throw any more things at me
than usual, BUT:
having had an inadequate web-ucation, was wondering if it's just common
email usage to substitute "your" for "you're" as a typing shorthand, or are
people not aware that one is possessive and the other a contraction for "you
are"?
