I think you pray over the animals before they slit its throat, and watch it
bleed to death..
twitching and spasming in pain..its eyes rolling skyward as its life ebbs
away in a warm, wet flood beneath it.
This makes it all better to eat you see.

I've also heard that because of how the animals are fed and treated,
Kosher/Halal certified meat has a far far far less chance of being infected
with mad cow disease than others. I believe they dont' feed the Animals
ground up leftover parts from dead carcasses/meat etc.??

An excellent question. "Halal" is like a stamp of approval on food which is
allowed by Islamic law to be eaten by our Muslim brothers and sisters. It
is similar in nature to the term "Kosher" for food which is allowed by
(Orthodox and Conservative) Judaic law to be eaten by Jews, but it is not
exactly the same.
For instance, both Judaic and Islamic laws forbid the eating of pork, but
Judaic law allows the drinking of Kosher alcoholic beverages, whereas
Islamic law forbids the consumption of any type of alcoholic beverage.
