Have heard of this before, I hadn't heard it was in use.
Also, Mercedes Benz has a hybrid Fuel Cell/Petrol engine that is giving just
about the same Power and acceleration as a petrol only engine.
THis could go into full production in the next 5 years or so, and is clean
burning and non-polluting.
What I did hear, though, is that when University teams come up with viable
alternate fuel technologies, the Oil companies spend lots of cash to
purchase the technology and patents and include a gag order in the deal as
well.
*snicker*
Now that could be urban legend...but it makes such sound business sense to
me that I'm tending to believe it
