The wife & I recently spent a weekend in Dayton visiting some friends. I
had a chance to sample the Nut Brown you mention. Truly a fine adult
beverage. Of course, it did suffer a bit from brews of similar ilk: a
somewhat harsh finish. That's gotta be a tough call for a brewmaster: roast
for a short time -- less than full-bodied taste. Roast too long -- great
full flavor, but a harsh finish. In this case the flavor was sooooo good
that the tradeoff was definitely worth it.
