just reinstall the OS. *don't* do a clean install though. that way, all that
gets deleted are accounts and permissions. applications and files remain
intact.

big oops!
was going through my test server & cleaning out logs etcetera.
came across a ntldr file with no extension in the root folder.
thought it looked odd.

deleted it & rebooted.

BOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR
Please insert another disk_

oh crude, any one have any ideas, other then don't delete files that you
don't know what they are!
