I'm always amused with the ones that say Web Developer: HTML, CF, CSS, C++,
SQL, ORACLE, Java, Javascript.
I don't know about the rest of you but I haven't been developing too many
websites in C++ LOL

Don't forget...
These are the folks who are based in a major metropolitan area and want to
pay $10- 15 an hour too.
Dream on.......

Subject: job search amusements
I've recently been searching for a new job and am often amused by some of
the job skills being asked for by employers. Take this one for example:
Required Skills:
3+ years of paid web design experience. Expert skills with HTML, DHTML, and
Layers. Must also know Unix, SQL, Perl, Apache, JavaScript, CGI, Flash,
Dreamweaver, Netobjects, or other tools. Experience using structured
methods. Must have a BS.
Desired Skills:
PHP, XML, Cold Fusion, Python, ASP
Non-Tech Skills:
Multitasking, good communication skills, adherence to deadlines
I've decided that a lot of these people just toss out every thing they might
have heard once somewhere, hehe. I figure I'll play along and toss out my
resume to any company that mentions CF in ANY capacity. I think I also tell
these people that they forgot to include Fortran? ;)
