Mark,

my problem & sentiments too -- although maybe I'm mellowing
don't think they should necessarily die, as long as they are faaaaaaar away
from me

BTW found out it's not the hair or dander that's the allergy problem, but a
protein or enzyme in the saliva that gets on the hair when they groom. Huh.

Once went to a dinner party where I didn't know they had a bunch of cats,
ended up leaving the party early to go to the ER for respiratory therapy for
asthma. Ouch.

It is a cat's god given right, to correct the errant behavior of their
personal slave (You). Besides, cell phones do make great hockey pucks, and
they are especially neat when they go plunk in water, I think you should
give your cat a special treat for his/her constant vigilance, for not
missing the opportunity.
