I've come to the realization that I can be a big
downer.
Sure my circumstances aren't what I want, but they
aren't as bad as they could be either. I eat, I sleep,
I wear a different shirt every day. My wife loves me
and I love her. Usually if I want to buy a chocolate
bar, I can.
I contribute to my community and country. I have
friends who sincerely love me as family (bless, one of
them just gave me a car because ours died!)
So my job pays squat (comparatively speaking) and no
benefits and isn't very fulfilling and has no room for
advancement. But you know what? That doesn't really
matter does it?
Even you guys, scattered across the world, make me feel
good to be alive. The muffins, the earlobes, the
horsies and great programming puns all make my day. I
haven't really made a penny off the mugs, but I did
sell 25 of them and that tells me that there are 25
people out there that I have never met that appreciate
something I created. Thanks. That means a ton.
So I thank you all. Especially Mikey D and his wife for
doing this list. I pray that you are all blessed and
given the wisdom to know when you are blessed.
