Wow!
I had a whoooooollleee LOT of fun last night!
:)
I got in at about 5 or so.
The music was great...for once! Normally the DJ plays a specific list of
songs on Fridays, but this time apparently he mixed and actually worked for
his money for the night!
The drinks were all free and my friends and I took full advantage of that.
During the Rave session (they play Rave music for like an hour or so back to
back) I don't know what got into me..but I was jumping around..knocked a
girl's drink out her hand....then jumped around with her...bumped into a few
more people.
And ..we were near one of the speakers, and a few of my other pardners got
involved..and it was like five or six of us all jumping around and doing the
arm swinging thing that you do to Rave music..and I happened to take stock
of my surroundings and the rest of the party was sedately watching us with
mildly alarmed/incredulous looks on their faces hahahahha.You should see
these people's faces. We managed to make spectacles of ourselves without
trying again heh heh.
(In general the crowd at that club doesn't really go for the Rave music, so
our behaviour was a bit of an anomaly there)
Anyways..after the rave thing it sort of went downhill..or up depending on
where you were standing..in terms of our behaviour :)
I ended up wining down to the ground with a friend from UWI..
then there was this congo line of debauchery for a few songs which my
innocent self was dragged into.(kicking and screaming in protest of course
;-)...not)
I had to politely extricate myself from the two girls between whom I was
sandwiched when something came up,
before things got decidedly out of control ^_^.
At about minutes to four I crashed though and ended up lying down near to
the lesbian tourist couple which had been cavorting nearby moments before.(I
think they were Australian).
All in all it was a great night!

Or the period we refer to as Summer here in Trinidad at any rate. (We truly
just have a wet and a dry season here, and "Summer" ironically corresponds
to our Wet season)
This is the lull for about three fridays before the general teeny bopper
crowd filters into the club when High Schools close.
There were fireworks from the pier and stuff..
OH! The Pier!
You know I mentioned going on a cruise down the islands on Fridays right?
Well this Friday we decided not to go on the Cruise but to stay in the main
club instead,and boy was that prescience on my buddy's part!
The boat..LOL..hee hee hee..the boat took about an hour to leave!
We later learnt that they somehow managed to get the Bow line hooked up in
one of the propellers of the engine and the owner and captain ended up
diving into the water to free it.
They also overloaded the damned thing.
It is supposed to hold 150 and I'm sure there were over 200 people on it.
Hopefully next week Friday won't be that crowded, for if it is I ain't
going!
And Carmen wasn't there...she apparently went to a different club. *pouts*
Anyways...if any future parties are more interesting than this one I will
share it with you folks, you might get a mild chuckle over some of the
things that happened ^_^
