Hey, maybe I should post a pic of *my* latest babies! Hmmm....actually, I
don't have a pic yet since they just *arrived* last night.

Ok, for those waiting for the punch line.....here's the story. One of the
stray cats that hangs around my house was pregnant and disappeared a few
days ago. Last night, one of my neighbors saw me outside and came over and
told me that *my* cat had babies in her garage (she thinks it was earlier
that day). Her son had put them in a box and she let it be known that they
didn't want to be bothered with them. So, I brought the box home and
attempted in vain to get the momma cat to take an interest in them. After a
panic call to my vet and a quick trip to PetsMart, I came back with a
nursing bottle and formula for newborn kittens.

And so now I'm a "mother" trying to keep the five baby kittens alive. Anyone
have tips on fostering kittens? :)

Chris
(or as I say to the kits, "Hi kids, I'm Yo' Mama!")
