Tisha B'Av (the 9th of Av) is on July 29th. This is the same day as Michael
Smiths conference. I was really looking forward to going there and speaking
on CFSCRIPT and UDF but the only thing more important than my commitment to
the CF community is my commitment to God. I'm going to see if I can get a
video tape together to take my place. Either that or have Mike change it to
the week after. :)
As for the collapse, all I can say is Thank God that more weren't hurt. I
think they said there were 700 people. I saw some video of it and this
wasn't just a floor collapsing, it was an entire corner coming down with
people going through the air.
