Cranberry orange. I tried to have one while I was in Louisiana last week
but my usual sources were dry. Muffin dryness, no matter the variety, is
just bad. Moist, available muffins are simply the best kind. No doubt about it.
I liked him but this is definitely for the best. We were starting to drive
each other crazy. It was a catch-22. "Stop cancelling our dates on short
notice." "Well, if you stopped bitching at me I might be more inclined to
remember when our dates are and then I wouldn't have to cancel." "I keep
bitching at you because you keep telling me that you are going to be more
reliable but your behavior doesn't improve." "It still makes me want to
avoid you and that's probably why my behavior doesn't improve." "But when
we actually go on a date, we have a great time. I don't bitch at you then
about being unreliable because you didn't cancel." "It's a subconscious
thing and it's not going to improve until you stop bitching at me
altogether." "So stop deserving it." Blah blah blah.
So yeah, congratulations and condolences. I wanted his behavior to stop and
it has now stopped. He can't cancel our dates on short notice if we don't
have any. But I really enjoyed the dates when we actually had them. I knew
he had issues when I started dating him and I thought it was going to
eventually turn him into a weenie; I was just hoping that he would manage
to avoid turning into a weenie. Didn't happen.
And as for another reason for me to have a bad week, the friendship that is
now in recovery is with a person who is going in for an ultrasound today to
determine if a biopsy is recommended.
