Do a good job, move up to the top of the chain, realize that your usefulness is pretty much over, retire. Commercial radio really can be an evil business. It's extremely cut-throat, back-stabbing, and petty. College radio can be that way too but it isn't nearly as bad. I don't want to work in commercial radio.
