Oh boy, movie discussion :)
I for one think Thin Red Line was much better than Private Ryan. The
problem, is that it's one of those movies that did not translate to the
small screen well. Some of the cinematography in that movie was awesome.
Why the hell did they have to get Steven Speilberg to do AI? I can just see
it now..."hey lets take Kubrik's last story and give it to the E.T. guy. Who
needs a good movie, when we can sell tons of little robot dolls to the
kids!"
