Canadian Good, American not as good.
I like almost every Canadian Beer, being Canadian. If you haven't
had a lot of 'worldly' beers start with Molson Canadian, move to
Molson Export or Labatt's 50, then you're ready for some more
exotic Canadian beers like Alexander Keith's or Moosehead (which
contains absolutely no moose! Bummer!) After awhile of that
you're ready for the beer on-lees, that is beer fermented in the
bottle. Yeehaw! That stuff usually is in the 7% alc/vol range or
higher. Maudite and Fin Du Monde are my favs in that category.
(Try not to do that all in one night.)
Bonus Points: What was the name of the brewery in Bob & Doug
Mackenzie's "Strange Brew" movie? Where did that name come from?
On the US side I like Genesee Cream Ale and Keystone (the only
beer that is good in a can). Otherwise, I only drink it if its
free or micro-brew. (Sam Adams is good.)
Certification and Instructing:
Man I would love to get certified and become an instructor. Sure,
I love coding, but nothing beaks that spark in a students eye
when they 'get it'. One way or another, I will get into teaching
eventually.
