The test is somewhat accurate. However I very much, from a methodological
point of view, despise those Likert-type scales that have a forced choice
type inventory. In other words no neutral responses. T
FWIW here's my ratings:
Economic Left/Right: -2.04
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.86
I guess I should get out and start waving the red banner eh? - then again
I'm Canadian, so that automatically puts me to the left of most Americans.
As a grad student I shared an office with someone who must have been the
love child of Margaret Thatcher and Ronnie Raygun. just before the 1992
Federal election, I visited the local Liberal Party office and got quite a
few banners and signs. When I got back I plastered the walls bookcases and
desks with Liberal signs. Needless to say this conservative had a fit.
