Oh..quite a lot of folk that normally posted, are apparently getting
troubles accessing the lists :-\
The thing with the DNS I believe. But ole Mike is working on it...I think it
should be fixed really soon heh heh :)

I watched the Xena Finale tonight..and boy was I disappointed. Now..I don't
usually watch Xena under most circumstances..but I thought hey..this is a
finale so I might as well.

*shakes head numbly*

Good grief. That finale was soooo...stupid.
I'm sorry. :-\
It just did not make sense.

Another blow to the Fantasy genre. You know I can't tell you the last time I
saw a really great movie based on what could commonly be termed an "RPG
Fantasy" world. Dungeons and Dragons was a let down...Hercules and Xena now
both fall into the same category for me.Hopefully Lord Of The Rings will
redeem all of these. (D&D wasn't *that* bad).

See..I think they ended it the silly way with Xena 'dead' (but we all know
that there's always ways to bring her back) because perhaps they want to
make a Adventures of Gabriel (what a flop that would be)??

Because if Xena didn't mean to kill those 40,000 people...then how could she
be held responsible? There was no intent. It was self defense. I thought the
'spirits' and gods would at least match the sensibility of mortal law in
their immortal 'wisdom'.
Or is this another little plot glitch just in case they somehow wanat to
continue the series at a later date?

"xena..don't you see? You didn't mean to kill those people..so you're soul
can come back and they will still be in Grace..." "Gabriel..you're
right...you have to take my spinny-blade-thing to the Fountain of Redemption
on the Dead Isle and speak the Incantation of Resurrection whilst lustfully
recalling flashbacks to bring me back!"
*giggle*
*ahem*

A whole village attacks you..you blow fire on a few of them to scare them
off...it just so happens that the wind blows the fire from house to house
and burns the entire village...and you're condemned??

It would have made a lot more sense if Xena had flown into a rage and killed
a few of them outright and then purposely set fire to the village wanting to
kill them all or something in that berserker rage. Now hey...THAT I could
see someone having to 'atone' for. When asked about it though..she couldn't
even believe that had happened, because as far as she recalled she didn't
kill the ignorant villagers, she hadn't wanted to.
Heck if a GM had ever thrown that weak plot at me as a reason for my
character remaining dead I'd have thwappled them!

Maybe if I had ever actually followed the series the finale would have had
more impact...but to me it just left me with an empty...'DUH feeling'.

What about you folks? Or was I the only one that bothered to sit through the
thing? heh heh.
