A friend of mine was fired by Nortel..one of the 10,000 people let go would you
believe as the company struggles to maintain
profitability.
Anyways, she likes journalist type work, and is a pretty good Copyright Editor. Now I
didn't know what the hell a Copyright
editor was, so she told me: "basically, i take marketing materials and concepts
provided by the customer and write the text
for their site. also write help screens for, like, shopping cart pages, etc. i seem
to be pretty good at it, and i enjoy it
a lot" . She does it freelance for Click Culture, however they don't have enough work
to hire anyone full time.
Soooo...if you folks know of any open positions, let me know and I'll pass them onto
her.She has a BA in English and is a
thesis away from a Masters in History.No I don't know why the hell she picked those
subjects and ended up in Tech either ^_^
