I played EQ for a short time, and was bored out of my skull with it. Too
little to do, and anywhere you did have something to do, it was camped
beyond belief.
Never played Ultima, however I did get a few characters to high 50's in AC
which I enjoyed for quite a while.
The look and feel of AO over these games is like the difference between
night and day. Different faces. Different clothes. Different armor. Cars,
jets, apartments, etc...
The game also has built within it a random mission generator that allows you
or your team to have a mission that is unique to you, and no one else. You
will NEVER find another team trying to get your mission because they can't!
They have a mission all to themselves.
I'm enjoying it... I love to go home, find a few friends, and snipe at
targets from the tree's while my friends martial artist hits em directly,
and our medic heals us all. It's fun!
