Thanks for the kudos! David and I are working on V3.0 as we speak, with too
many enhancements to list (and they're still secret), but I will let one
kitty out of the bag: the new version will generate code so clean and tight
you can read it like poetry, it will be completely customizable through
user-defined templates, and it will now contain our LoginBlocks security
module for integrated clusterable security. That, and it's now about ten
times faster, so it will generate a few hundred templates of ColdFusion code
for a complex relational database in about two seconds. No kidding.
And we're already planning V4, which is top secret at this time (sorry).
One thing: we are planning to keep our product "ColdFusion Only" so that we
can concentrate on generating truly efficient code bases, rather than
generalize the code so that any language could be generated. If we ever add
another language, then we will generate it natively, too, so that each
language's capabilities are fully leveraged.
Oh yeah-- the price is going up to $295.00 with no per-project fees, and
we're locking down the product after a thirty-day trial period until you pay
your license fee. We tried to be nice and got s*** on for it, so HonorWare
is history, never to be repeated.
You're really going to like the new release, guys.
