I hear what you're saying. But right now they throw it out, anyway. So if
it's going to go into the garbage, or if it could be used for research that
would save lives ...

On the other hand -- I hear what you're saying about "Leave no Trace." That
stuff's got DNA info all over it, right? And it could really be used
(illegally) without anyone knowing (trust me -- in the aftermath of a birth
no one's usually with it enough to think of these things.)
