I've been beta-testing Multi-Edit 9 since beta 2. I've been using
Multi-Edit since version 5 for DOS.
I love this editor. The only reason I have CF Studio is for the debugger,
but I have to say that it's about even as to which does better code
editing. ColdFusion is set up as a variant of HTML, so you get to use all
the Weblair add-ins and tag editors, but you have to enable the CF tag
database before you'll actually see any of that. However, it also has a
plug-in that will enable integration between Multi-Edit and CF Studio, so
you can easily switch between them.
The best thing about using Multi-Edit is that I don't have to learn several
different editors to switch between CF, Perl, C++, VB, SQL, and Java.

Hey,
Is anyone using Multi-Edit (http://www.multiedit.com).
I just noticed that version 9 has CF tag support.
I used this editor for DIBOL years ago.
It is the best editor I have used. Packed with
usefull features like key macros and such.
I am definitely considering spendin the $200 for it
but I was hoping someone could give me some
info on how the new version does with CF.
Thanks
-Rice
