A friend of mine is an archeologist specializing in Neolithic Syria. One
thing he mentioned to me is that every site they've excavated had the
remains of beer brewing equipment and grains. Steve is convinced that the
only reason civilization started is because of beer. One of these days I'm
going to have to try the recipe that he developed from these excavations.
