Well I don't really know all my applications are built against SQL Server.
My plan is to learn it well enough to provide it as part of a hosting
package. So my question should be more like...

What features do you look for in a MySQL hosting package?

MySQL documentation is actually pretty good since the latest overhaul. Just
sit down for a few hours and read the entire manual, cover to cover. And
watch out for the features that are marked for version 4.1 or 5 (which are
still early alpha or beta).
