and I see that the story continues to be reported, always outside the US except for the Washington Times. You have to admit, it just *sounds* like something the Bush administration would do. Yes, they are that stupid. But is the story true? Tim thinks not, but he is not in Iraq.
THe suggestion is circulating that is is based on a farcial piece, but apparently "The Business," to which the story is always attributed, is a real news paper. It is either a trial balloon, a hell of a scoop, or a growing urban myth. I am still an agnostic, I guess.

may be a partial answer. It suggests that they aren't banning cameras, they are banning phones. And this has noooooooooothing to do with any pictures out of any prison, of course.
