Subject: ColdFusion Studio VS DreamWeaverMX 2004
Hey guys. I have been using CF Studio for many years. Trying to switch over to DreamWeaver has been like trying to pull out a perfectly good tooth. However in the past month or so, I have found myself using DW more than Studio (especially after finally upgrading from MX to MX 2004) and I don't think I can go back now. 8^O There are many features that were in both that I did not realize for a long time, and it has just been just a matter of taking the time to learn where and how to do the same thing in DW.
For those of you that are advanced DW users, I have a few questions. There are some features of CF Studio that I really hate to leave behind. If anyone knows if any of these features are available in DW MX 2004 I would be so incredibly greatful for some insight as to where and how. =) Here are the 3 features I have missing most:
1) the ability to split the code view screen
2) that wonderful, dragable, margin rule for lining up code indentations
3) the ability to hide lines of code
Minor they may be, but we are creatures of habit, and these are crutches I don't want to lose. I would be interested to hear whether or not I am alone in my struggle to change. Any coments about my turmoil will be welcomed.
Thanks,
Greg
