As for the depth of the issue, so to speak, I really didn't remember the
depth of the water, just my fuzzy memory. But there was enough water to
leave things floating. The landlord was definitely pissed though.

I have not had a waterbed for a few years, but not for the reasons you're
thinking of. My wife doesn't like them. They are great if you have back
problems though.
