Hehehe, good question - without getting into the boring details, my db guy doesn't have nor can he install any type of HTML editors so he's stuck with MS Word and Notepad.  He's using MS Word because the 'find/replace' option provides feedback on the total replacements done whereas Notepad doesn't provide that feedback, it just does the replace.

The obvious question is: Why Word? Why not notepad? You may have to remove
the doctype line or other lines to view the text in Word...

There has got to be a way to do this.....

I'm trying to use MS Word 2000 (9.0.7616 SP-3) to view a .txt file that is
the saved HTML source of a webpage.

Outbound email scanned for viruses. (e230)
