I don't think Sept 11 holds any significance.
It is odd that Sept 11 is 9/11... or 911.

It's clear this was a Terrorist attack...but normally the DATES on which
they do things has some clue as to who they are, or why they did it.
So what is the significance of September 11th in the Middle East, or with
