I am a huge advocate of offering tech classes as early as possible!

Yup, I was in the very first class offered in the school in 1983-1984 school year. Since it was the first class every offered the class was filled by seniority, I was one of two Freshman allowed in the class. Unfortunately, we both knew more then the teacher who was basically learning one step ahead of the rest of the class. So one week in, they created an advanced compSci class that consisted of the two of us and our project was that scheduling tool for the grade school.
Ahh where I could have been in this industry if I hadn't went after my first love and pursued a culinary career for 10 years before a back injury made me change careers.
Ian.
