We have a site at
/ces/regionalwaterquality/conservationtraining
In our CF code, we have includes that resolve to things like this:
/ces/cfincludes/head.cfm
Everything is hunky dory.
Client wants a shorter url (but just as a redirect is fine)
conservationtraining.uwex.edu
Server admin set it up as a virtual host. Well, that kills all the root
relative includes if you come into it from the short url (still fine from
the long url).
Shouldn't there be a way to have the short url just redirect to the the
longer url, without it hosing the way CF sees the root relative includes?
(Apache webserver, btw)
