'Gel, when so many went home early on Tuesday the terrorist won. When we
made fundemental changes to the way we behave, though temporary, the
terrorist won.
Tuesday was the opening battle of a war. We lost that battle. If we give
up our freedoms, even in the name of public safety or national security, we
have lost the war.
I, for one, hope that the people here wake up and see that. To defeat
terrorists, we need to drive on like it didn't happen. We mourn for and
bury our dead, but we get back to our lives and live them as we would have
if the attacks never happened.
Try Us!
