Hey I am looking for some solution for keeping all my mirrored servers
current... Let me splainit for ya...
I have three servers that all have the same websites, if we lose one of our
servers or the ISP line goes down we have a service that will automatically
redirect the traffic to a different box that's running the same sites. The
problem I have is keeping all the servers websites current with the same
updated information. We have about 10 people working on all these sites all
day and some folks forget to update the other servers. What I am looking for
is a program that will monitor all servers and will keep the files current
based on a master server or something.
I was thinking if there is a program out there that would allows us to
update one server as the Primary staging server, then this program would
compare files with the others servers and update them with any changes that
were made on the primary server. This would really help us out, if all we
had to worry about was one server.
So does any one know of a program that will do this... also all of our
servers are at different physical locations, so this system would need to
access each server through ftp or some method similar.
