It is silly to try and implement something if you do not understand what it
is you are implementing.
Head over to this site and read up a bit....

You should be up to speed on what you need to know and understand to achieve
your results.
Also, after reading some basics, go GOOGLE on some of things you need more
clarification on.
This list is great, but it really is not good to just implement something if
you don't understand how it works.
