Most times I like water, but when I'm eating it just doesn't do anything.

I dunno - they all taste like caramel-colored battery acid to me. ;^)
I used to drink soda a lot growing up, then about 10 years ago started
drinking water exclusively - now any carbonated beverage just hits my mouth
like a cheese grater.

I actually like C2, I didn't like Pepsi's new one called Pepsi Edge.
Diet drinks leave a coating in my mouth, so when I eat, nothing tastes
right. This is the same for NutraSweet and splenda based drinks.
