first conference -
1. What's typical dress code / atire for the event?
Well, as your not a hot chick, nude is not an option. Actually, last
year there was a total hotty and the person who pointed her our was
another woman. Back to the subject at hand, dress is casual. I'll be
in Shabbos clothing Saturday, but that'll probably be the only tie you
see in the entire place.
2. Should I bother brining the laptop to the hotel or would it be
better left elsewhere?
There's wireless for the whole conference so bringing one is not a bad
idea. There are times between and after presentations where you may
want to just sit and talk or surf.
