If the salary doubles or triples I'll let you know ;)

I prefer in-house employees. I find I get more of a team environment that
way. Besides the IRS is really cracking down on long-term contractors.

I suppose the salary is okay - a little on the low side for the Boston Metro
area, but perhaps that far north its workable.

However lack of health insurance is a huge thing and takes the whole package
down: to pay for your own health insurance is pretty expensive, at least 5k
a year if not more for a decent family plan.  One you have medical the
package sounds okay (although vacation time and other benes would have to be
settled as well).

If you ever want to double (or triple) that salary I'll take the job.  ;^)

Since you're looking for what appears to be a non-expert person (presumably
a Jr person in your org) why hire at all?  Personally I would do a long term
contracting gig until you could offer a more complete benefits package and
maybe more salary and then look for somebody.

Hi All,

Its been a time since I've been in a position to hire someone. Would someone
here mind doing a sanity check on this for me?
