Turkey is more important to the west than Kurdistan. Ergo the western
powers have made a deliberate decision to ignore the aspriations of
the Kurds. No matter what you say about he Palestinians, they have
done a remarkable PR job. Having taken Israel from a fairly popular
and respected nation to one that is seen by most of the world as an
oppressor (not saying that it is, given my druthers, I'd rather be in
an Israeli jail than the Remadi refugee camp).
