(I mean, c'mon, Dole?) and Gore in 2000. Oddly enough, I lived in
Naperville, IL in 2000, which is a Republican stronghold of great
influence (and home of Bush/Cheneys "Major League Asshole" comment about
Adam Clymer). However, Gore took Illinois due to Chicago Democratic
Machine.
My wife voted for Nader, since it was a safe vote in Illinois (you think
Bush is winning IL this year? Not if Daley and 400 billion dead
Chicagoans have anything to say about it!). She won't touch Nader with
a ten-foot pole this year, though.
