I don't think anyone disagrees with the fact that pushing a religion on
anyone is wrong

Personally, I'm not that upset about them in courthouses.  Typically, if
you're in a courthouse, you're an adult.  What does upset me is their
presence in public schools.  My middle-school-aged sister should learn
about religion from her family and (if applicable) her church.

Part of the reason I get so up in arms about this is that the area I
live in is *very* Southern Baptist, which tends to make me reactionary.
  I admit this freely.  However, I don't think it invalidates the idea
that pushing Christianity in elementary schools is wrong.
